Egletons Meeting

The HeritageCare team met in France to discuss progresses of the project.

The third HeritageCARE meeting took place on October 2-3, 2017 in Égletons (France). This reunion has represented a watershed in the HeritageCARE project. After one year of work, the methodology for preventive conservation of heritage buildings has been defined:

HeritageCARE Report 1.2: General Methodology

Partners are ready to implement it in 60 case studies selected among the great variety of heritage buildings spread over the SUDOE territory (Portugal, Spain and South-West France).
The two-day reunion saw the participation of the representatives of the DRAC, French regional branch of the Ministry of Culture, and was complemented by the visits to the Génie Civil Diagnostic et Durabilité, to the historic city centre of Égletons and to the ruins of the Ventadour Castle.
