During two days, HeritageCare’s partners had the opportunity to become personally acquainted with the monitoring strategy unfolded by the Flemish entity and to have a closer look at the modus operandi of MonumentenWachters when carrying out on-site inspections to historic buildings. The meeting offered HeritageCare a live platform for exchanging information and advices on good conservation practices as well as receiving feedbacks and suggestions about the recently started project. The site visit to Saint Gertrude’s Church, along with the MonumentenWacht’s team, complemented this valuable experience.
